I called Jim today about an issue with our chimney cap after a storm, and he came out immediately to help us. He was incredibly thorough and he took the time to give a detailed explanation of what exactly he had fixed. Fast, professional, and goes above and beyond. With all the storms we’ve had we noticed a leak in our roof. Jim answered my call addressed my questions and inspected what needed to be done. He communicated every detail and took pictures of the work so I could understand each step before repairs were done. Thankfully the weather permitted him to do the repairs same weekend. Call Jim first. If he does not pick up, he will call you back that day. You call other places and maybe you get a call back in a few days.
We hired Jim while in the process of selling a house. The buyer’s inspection did not denote anything abnormal. The buyers then had the roof inspected by a roofing company that quoted a new roof even over a 2-year-old porch.
Jim gave us a detailed explanation of the condition of your roof and various options. No repairs required. Gave us a great quote for a tune-up addressing some normal wear items. Through the process Jim kept us informed.

Marshall's roofing recently replace my home roof due to water damage. Jim Marshall responded in a timely manner, and was very competative with pricing.  He spent significant time explaining the roofing replacement process and his pratices as roofing is  so important to the value and longitivity of the home. My neighbor had Jim from Marshall's Roofing do some repair work a couple of years ago.  While he was on the roof, Jim inspected his roof and told him that he had a couple more years before he would need a roof.  His honesty really impressed me at that time.  When my neighbor decided to replace his roof, he called Jim.  I also needed to replace my 25 year plus roof and saw Jim at my neighbor's house.  I told him to stop by when he was finished to discuss replacing our roof.  I was able to see the excellent job he did with my neighbor's roof and was especially interested in the quality workmanship and quality product that Jim provided my neighbor.  Jim showed me every detail of the materials he planned to use and told me why he believed this was the way to go.  His estimate was very reasonable and he began work within a few days of completing my neighbors roof.  We also needed a gutter replacement, which he handled again, complete with high quality gutter guards.  The price, quality, and workmanship was again excellent.  Jim was there personally to supervise the work and explain all the details of what was going on.  We feel that we and our neighbor have the nicest looking and best quality roofs (and in our case gutters) in the area.  You will be very pleased if you hire Marshall Roofing to do the work. Jim Marshall came out to my home on short notice to inspect my roof. Jim was, knowledgeable, considerate, professional, and most importantly, trust-worthy (which is something you can't say about all contractors).  I will gladly recommend Marshall's Roofing and Contracting.
